After the excitement of the Fourth of July, mid- July can feel like long, warm dream before the crispness of autumn. By this point it is likely you have run out of bucket list ideas, and are looking for a few new places to check out this summer, lest you miss the beautiful weather of the next few months! In lieu of this phenomena we have come up with a list of our favorite places to visit close to our location. Here are the top spots to relax, grab a bite to eat, and make a day of it in Shelton, and Olympia, Washington. Enjoy!

Eat Some Sushi

Osaka Sushi & Asian Bistro is highly rated for a reason. Try their top tier sushi or nigiri for healthy bits that linger on your taste buds, and dance with the mixture of wasabi, soy, and palate cleansing ginger. Not in the mood for sushi? Check out their other delicious meals on your own, or bring a large group to try a little bit of everything. This place is perfect for a simple, yet complex meal that will get your stomach ready for a day of hiking.

Grab a Cuppa

Urraco Coffee Co is only twelve minutes outside our location, and they have one of the best brews around! Try an espresso shot to really get going for the day, and pick up a bag of beans to take home with you to continue the gourmet experience on your own. You might also need the caffeine boost for the next part of this three- part adventure.

Take a Hike

There are many, many beautiful hikes and outdoor areas closer to our location, but if you really want to get out there, Staircase Rapids, in the Olympic National forest is one of the more gorgeous trails. Old Growth forest and roaring rapids will keep you company, as you walk along the lushly forested trail. Just an hour outside our location,  this four mile round trip hike is great for relaxing, and really taking in the scenery. The best part about this trip is the smooth cannabis experience you can expect when you finally head home, and relax for the evening.
